"The KFJ Dawn Phillips Award for Excellence”

Hi Fellow Members of the KFJ Executive Committee & Board,
 
Could we start giving consideration to a "Joint Award" to recognise and perpetuate the outstanding Work and Contributions that DLG Dawn Phillips has made to Kiwanis  
 
If all four Divisions in Jamaica would like to participate, it could be a Divisional Award each year and the KFJ select the National Awardee from the Four Divisional Winners and the Presentation made at our AGM or Annual KFJ Awards Function.
 
The detailed Criteria, the Selection Process to identify truly deserving Recipients, the Form and Substance of the Divisional and KFJ National Awards could be worked out by a select Committee of the KFJ, Divisions and including a representative from her Club. We should also collaborate to prepare a catalogue of DLG Dawn's work, contributions, achievement and Awards at the KFJ, Club, Divisions, District, International and SLP levels.
 
Perhaps the KFJ could designate an Initial Sum to establish the Awards as well as the projected Annual Recurring Cost for the Award. The Divisional Awards could be shared with each Division while the KFJ National award be fully sponsored by the Foundation.
 
The Award could be named : -
 
 "The KFJ Dawn Phillips Award for Excellence”

1 - If there is merit in this proposal
2 - Time frame for the announcement of our intent
3 - If now, giving approval to approach the LG's and the appointment of this Special KFJ
     National Award Committee
4 - Any other or related comments / suggestions
